Connect a phone

Sign in at app.defen.so and open Mobile app in the left menu.
Press Connect a phone. A QR code and a 6-character magic code appear, valid for 2 minutes.
In the app, scan the QR or type the code. Done. No email or password is ever entered on the phone.

Alert levels

Off: nothing is sent for that event on that site.
Notif: a standard push notification.
Noisy: a call-style alarm with a loud siren that rings until you press Stop. Available on Pro plans and above. Vulnerability findings never ring.

Device limits per plan

Free accounts connect 1 phone with standard notifications. Pro connects 2 phones, Max 5, Agency 10, all with noisy alarms. Phones are managed and revoked from the dashboard, Mobile app page.

Notifications not arriving

Open the app and check the banner on the Sites tab. If it says notifications are off, tap Fix and allow notifications in system settings.
On Android, disable battery optimization for Defen.so Alerts if alerts arrive late.
Check the phone still appears under Mobile app in the dashboard. A revoked phone stops receiving alerts instantly.
Verify the site's alert level is not Off, in the app or on the site's Alert channels tab.

Disconnect or move to a new phone

In the app: Settings, Disconnect this phone. Or from the dashboard: Mobile app, Revoke. Then connect the new phone with a fresh code. Codes are single-use and expire after 2 minutes.
